Pokémon Go Friendship Day Event!!

A three hour Friendship Day event will be held tomorrow Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time. For this Friendship Day, Grass-type Pokémon will be appearing more often in the wild. Plus, you’ll be able to complete a Collection Challenge to receive a ton of XP, and you’ll have an increased chance of receiving Lucky Pokémon when you trade with a friend.

Earn 175,000 XP! through Friendship Day Collection Challenge during the event.

You’ll have an increased chance of receiving a Lucky Pokémon when you complete a trade with a friend and this bonus will be active until 5:00 p.m. local time on the day of the event with trade distance will be increased to 40 km.

A 3× Catch XP bonus will be active throughout the three hour event.

Incense and lures activated during the event will last for three hours.
